I expected the step-by-step guide to be more superficial, thus less believing of whether it would work. Having listened to it, I was surprised that there is no analyzing, but simply a manual of techniques to get out of all the bad routines we have developed.
It's been a lifesaver for my marriage. My husband had almost completely withdrawn but didn't want a divorce. So I asked him if he'd be willing to do some of the things you suggest in your book. He was cranky at first but went along with it. And you know what? It worked. It took a while but he began to soften, we began to talk and now he's doing really thoughtful things to let me know he loves me. It seems crazy that a book could help save a marriage but yours has. We've had fun doing all the things you suggest. We really liked doing that thing where we went down memory lane. That was so much fun. We're looking forward to our marriage continuing to improve.
